All children took part in StreetSmart, a Road Safety Authority initiative which aimed to bring issues of road safety to life for young school children.  There was a combination of interactive activities for each age group.

The children carried out typical, everyday cycling and pedestrian tasks. They dressed up and adopted various roles such as a nurse, doctor, fire officer or ambulance driver.  It was an action packed, fun filled day that enhanced the children’s knowledge of the rules of the road.
